Aston Link

Aston Link provides a place of Christian welcome and community for local residents. On Tuesdays and Thursdays it provides a drop-in centre with an excellent value three course lunch for only £1.50, followed by a game of bingo. It also runs a charity shop which sells a wide range of clothes and household items.

There is a monthly event called Godlink, which is an informal act of worship for the Aston Link Community. It runs one Tuesday in every month following the closure of the kitchen. Details of the dates for upcoming Godlink meetings are available from the staff.

Aston Link is run as a joint venture by Aston Parish Church and Lichfield Road Methodist Church. It is based at Lichfield Road Methodist Church at the junction of Lichfield Road and Grosvenor Road, just by Aston Station. Click here to see it on a map.

Monday: 10.00 am – 2.30 pm (shop only)
Tuesday: 12.00 am – 1.30 pm (lunch from 12 noon to 1pm)
Thursday: 11.30 am – 2.30 pm (lunch from 12 noon to 1pm)

We need your support

The shop at Aston Link needs items for sale. While clothes are always welcome, there is a particular need for other items such as kitchen goods, books, records, bric-a-brac. Not only do such items sell well, they can also help meet the needs of those in our community who have little if anything when they are setting up home afresh.

Volunteers are needed to help in the shop, the kitchen and with serving meals. Volunteers are also welcome to come along and enjoy a good lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays and chat to those who come.
