• Nechells Community Fun Day at St Matthew’s School, Duddeston Manor Road, Nechells on Monday 3rd May from 12-4pm
• Somme Sunday at Aston Parish Church on Sunday 4th July at noon
• CMS Buffet Supper with speakers Rob & Liz Watson giving a Sudan Update at Aston Parish Church Centre on Friday 9th July from 6.30 pm – cost £5.50
• Marriage Preparation Day for couples getting married in the next few months on Saturday 10th July from 10 am to 4 pm at Aston Parish Church Centre
• St James visit to Colwall, our link church, on Sunday 25th July
• Bell Ringing Competition at Aston Parish Church and Centre on Saturday 31st July
• New Wine at Newark from Saturday 31st July to Friday 6th August

Evening Services

At Aston Parish Church Centre, at 6.30 pm, there is MORE, led by Andy Jolley.

Over the summer, we will be taking our evening services out and about in the parish, each time starting at 6.30 pm (unless stated):
Sunday 25th July – Outside the Dog & Partridge pub in Nechells
Sunday 1st August – Holte Road, Aston
Sunday 8th August – Montague Road, Aston
Sunday 15th August – Frederick Road, Aston (outside St James Church)
Sunday 22nd August – Witton
Sunday 29th August – Aston Park (with Birchfield Gospel Hall at 5.30 pm)

Alpha

The next Alpha course begins on Tuesday 28th September and will be is led by Beverly Watson with Flo Howells and Paul Lacey. The course is every Tuesday evening at St James Church, Frederick Road, Aston at 7.30 pm each week. The course begins with snacks, and then looks at different questions about Jesus and the Christian faith each week. Find out more about our Alpha course here
